I can really understand him. Even people with a normal income often live in freestanding homes without any other families living under the same roof. I am not rich, but I lived in a freestanding house all my life. So why should a billionaire not do the same, just in a much larger scale? In fact he spends a much smaller percentage of his money on his house than most people. Most people spend 250% or more on a house and then pay for it for decades. So why shouldnīt a billionaire spend $500 million or so on a house? Have you never had the same dreams? If I had the money, I would build something like a private Space Needle or so.

There are more than 1,000 billionaires in the world. I would love to see 1,000 single home skyscrapers.

My heart goes out to billionaires at a time like this. It's got to be hard to build a 26 floor skyscraper in the current economic climate. Hang in there Mr. Ambani.

A complete skyscraper for just one family...

But the design is nice. It reminds me a bit of the Dutch pavillion on the Expo in Hannover.

I love the concept and the design. What's up with the haters out there? I am sure if this was built some place else, it would not create that much negativity.
