It's funny how people protest in Korea. Closer to where I live in Seodaemun-gu, all the ajummas were out in force at Yonsei-ro protesting the closing of the road to general traffic, AFTER THE ROAD HAD ALREADY BEEN RIPPED UP.

I mean seriously, protest, but protest before shit starts. It's pointless afterwards.

And honestly, no one that shops in that vicinity drives in anyway.... it's largely students on PT.

Agree with your exact point
Agree. Those ajumma is "illegal vendors" who hate "Yonsei-ro for fedestrian friendly construction".

They are afraid for lost their JOBS due to pedestrian friendly construction.(now they earn money on walking road without pay any single tax)

Also Seoul protester very nosy and amok beasts. They dosen't give a sh*t others citizens or driver. Even police can't disturb them during marching main road cause ilegal is legal in korea(police line useless). They assume those amok act as democracy lol

If you don't know that, unfortunately, protesting in Korea is a cultural thing. You can't change the mentality of decades.

Building Lotte Tower in Jamsil was a huge mistake. The chairman of Lotte wanted the tower to be next to his amusment park but he forgot that the area around it is totaly unfriendly for building taller than 150m.

Now you get the yield. He will only blame himself.

But I'm sure this one will go ahead. It's too late to stop the construction now.

Koreans should begin protesting for the air strip to be moved to another area or changing its direction so that planes can land and take off without a stress for God's sake.

Yeah, I've lived here for more than two years, I know how they protest; still strange. It's always over sensationalized, worked up, and too late.

I walked past a guy in front of City Hall last week protesting this building. He had a god damn model with a half exploded plane sticking out of it. I mean come on?!

There are better ways to go about it.

Don't worry it will happen! Just need some approvals before moving forward.

This is not Russia or China. The project was approved, it's being built, and I have yet to hear of an instance in the free world where a project could be stopped on a hypothetical alone, and a small one at that. This project's going nowhere, it's here to stay

You right. Your comment is common sense. But this is korea who spoil too many great project already.
Korea possible Remember they already messed up YONGSAN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS PROJECT. World comedy.

Franckly speaking I don't give a sh**t whether lotte tower stop or going well since IBD PROJECT CANCENELLED.

LEFT Mr KIM who the Minister of National Defense
RIGHT YU who congressman of ruling party.

Mr KIM : We've check the "safety (of lotte tower)" base on (air port simulation) data.
YU : Are you have a plan to ask stop lotte tower's construction to President of SK?
Mr KIM : I'm going to hear official opinions from AIR FORCE MITITARY.

Interview at 26 November
*( ) is my add.

2. PROSECUTION SERVICE finished inspection approved procedure during LOTTE TOWER'S PERMISSION.
3. Almost(i bet 90%) korean people dislike this tower.(they think SEOUL is LONDON OR PARIS)

This is korea impossible is possible country. This great tower not deserve with SK PEOPLE. LET'S MOVE TO TOKYO OR LONDON.
