I think it will. It might take a little time, but I think that it has a good chance of going up. After all, the foundations are already built so it would be a waste not to use them

classical music concert in front of the lake and LWT

finally some visible progress.
The steel columns rose by 2 floors and they continued with the cladding a little bit.
Also the external elevator is about to rise soon.

Cool building, surely one of the best supertalls in the world. Glass looks great on the tower

exactly!
That's also where the second belt truss will be and where the steel columns will end:

It really does, no matter if from far away or from close by:

It is the best supertall, but I wish more would be built around it. Like Singapore and Busan.

In no way i really dislike this building (it has a FABOLOUS facade, plenthy of height and it will be an Eyecather most certainly.
But i do also think its shape is a little bit weird, it think the curve should have started maybe a little bit lower to the base of the tower, now it kind of looks like burned candle.
But who knows perhaps the end result will make me change my mind.

This will obviously go full scale, let's hope this Hyundai Center Inno keeps talking about rises. Sounds like it's a Beast, and will only help Seoul...

Seoul is getting more and more international attention when it comes to skyscrapers:
New York Times article about LWT and Hyundai GBC:
South Korea Enters the Race to Build Skyscrapers

One part of the article got my attention:
Quote:
In an attempt to reassure South Koreans — who have been especially vigilant about public safety since last year’s Sewol ferry disaster — Lotte announced this week that Mr. Shin and 200 employees would move their offices to the building.
I never read anything about 200 employees also moving into the tower. Any Koreans here who can confirm this information from local news?

burned candle it seem make sense for me.
I agree this monster curved begin from lower then it would much more sexy.
but personally I not really big fan of LWT's design.
But when i recently visit there and saw with naked eyes.
I changed my mind. One words "Out Space Architecture In earth."
You can't believe how it is amazing until you see it with naked eyes.
