Amazing to think that after years and even decades of planning, we're finally just one floor away from the last floor of this building. I'm so extatic, especially since the crown looks amazing (plus it has the added benefit of searching for the One Ring to rule them all once again).

Same here! I've been watching the tower grow since two years. every. single. day.
I can't believe that its almost completed!

Below there's a detailed diagram of where we are now.
I think the highest floor under construction now is 121, but i'm not sure exactly, its hard to tell from the pic above.
Anyway, we're pretty close to the end:

Despite almost completing all 123 floors there are still some interesting challenges left, like the external elevator or the skywalk bridge.
Anyway, maybe the crown will be finished before christmas!

yes. crazy, right?
this guy here takes a pic of LWT every day since over 1250 days (3.4 years) from his rooftop:
http://blog.naver.com/PostList.nhn?f...rrentPage=1245

Since two years i visited his blog every day and checked the construction progress.
It was interesting to watch the daily progress the workers made and I also learned a lot about structural engineering

Some well-known glassfloor skywalks now: the ledge at chicago willis tower (412m), shanghai oriental pearl (350m) ...

According to the rendering, lwt skywalk probably is 500m+

There should be a proper drainage system on that scary skywalk coz many pple would wet their pants and the floor. Lol

Humptydumpty, are they extending the external construction elevator up, or are they dismantling it now that they are close to the top of the building?
