when i compare the current pics of the tower and the render it looks like they cancelled the external elevator or even the skywalk. This would be really horrible.

I hope i'm wrong.

Anyone know when the crown cladding will be installed? I can't wait for the building to be completed!

This is one of the best supertalls on earth, on par with the Shanghai Tower and Burj Khalifa.

The large tower crane is already being disassembled and the outside cladding is almost finished.

That sticking out bit at the top looks different in the renders.

Yes, it does look a bit different, also compared with the renders in the image video.

I'm really excited to see the final result in a few weeks hopefully

Damn! Gigantic!
It looks really good, however, that glass bridge if completed will be amazingly scary

Sorry for this moron question.. but I'm just curious about those banners (flag and letters). Are they inside the building since you can see the lines of the cladding in front of them? And if so, are they composed of individual pieces for each window on each floor.. because if not, if they are two whole banners, that would mean that there is some kind of space between the floors base and the cladding..

those banners consist of hundreds of little pieces "glued" on the outside of the building, on each window and floor.

Recently, some cladding around the observatory on the top floors. And of course, the main crane is currently being disassembled. It should be over in a couple of days.

Now lotte work with fountain company of USA to make fountain show in suckchon lake(in front of LWT)
Lotte is going to make this fountain show like dubai&singapore scale.
Lotte want skydeck of lwt and fountain show harmony each other and give synergistic effect in seoul tourism

Meanwhile Shinsaegae company make huge LANDMARK fountain in CBD of seoul(in front of KOREA BANK)
They assume construction cost about millions.
Shinsaegae will make triangle tourism line "namsan mountain-myoundong-namdaemun market)
