first pic from inside the observatory.
some artist guy went up.
source: http://news.naver.com/main/read.nhn?...aid=0003683867

the "edges" of the tower are now fully lit, all the way up to the top (not just half way like before)
looks awesome, surely both from this side or from the front side.

Probabaly double deck elivator it is. But I can't understand why only 33fl button in there?
There are 30 elevators inside LWT. Not all of them go all the way up to the top.
They are separated in different sections:
- Office elevators only go to the office sections (probably this is the elevator that you posted)
- Hotel elevators skip the offices and go to the hotel
- Apartment elevators skip everything and go to the apartments
- Observatory elevators only go to the observatory

There are also maybe elevators between the sections: Office lobby <-> Hotel lobby etc.
Btw. don't think that the elevator will stay covered with this weird carpet.
Its just a protection to not damage the elevator during construction work.

Nice view from above!
you can also see progress at the underground bus terminal on the lower right side.

A statue of the German writer "Goethe" was placed in the park in front of the tower, in order to honor the origin of the company's name "Lotte". "Lotte" is the short version of "Charlotte", the name of a character in Goethe's "The Sorrows of young Werther", which inspired the founder of the Lotte corporation.

some apartments will have a double-floor height.

In case someone of you needs a new apartment:
Apparently they started to promote and sell the apartments inside the tower

All apartments in Zone C will have double-height rooms, which should be super nice (and crazy expensive i guess)

Agreed. So often, public transit spaces in South Korea are way blander than they need to be (looking at you, Suseo HSR station), but it seems like they actually tried something with the light fixtures and all.

Still disappointed about those ghastly, 12+ lane-wide roads, but that's a longer term problem to fix than even a project of this scale could've addressed.

This tower turned out great. The lighting really makes it looks amazing at night as well. Some information I found on the CTBUH page:

The elevators top speed will be 10 meters per second (so the observatory will be reached in around a minute and a half)

The companies manufacturing the elevators will be Otis and Mitsubishi (Let's hope the observatory elevators will be made by Mitsubishi as they have the smoothest and quietest elevators out there)

The observatory will be at 497 meters above ground. Just for comparison, the 541 meter high One World Trade Center's observatory is at 381 meters above ground.

The glass balcony is gonna be so cool and amazing!!!

So are the observatory elevators running in the glass edges of the tower and be glass elevators or not? Does anyone know?
