I think the new design looks MUCH better. That big tower in the old design just looks sort of funny...

Are they gonna build either the North Bund Tower or the cruise ship terminal tower or are they gonna build both?

Unfortunately it seems that the SOM design has changed a bit





It seems like they wanted to make a cheaper building or something. Now it looks a bit like Lilium Tower in Warsaw, only with an ugly boxy top.

the design is getting worse with every design change, still a nice tower....but i'm disappointed

it would be disappointing if they are going to build this model. Earlier designs are better IMO

Still nice, but the SOM design that came before this was fantastic and easily the best out of all of them.

According to skyscrapers.cn, the new, 319 meter stats were taken from an announcement posted at the construction site. So, this is indeed very good news. Hopefully this means that this thread can be moved to the Supertall section soon enough.
