Of course "JB big size with low density" lah! You are the one who thinks that it was an EXCELLENT idea for the government to build Nusajaya and Medini and those outlying areas. Of course you want people in JB to be held hostage to substandard Protons and Peroduas, take dirty buses that spew smoke, or get ripped off by taxi drivers that don't go by the metre, and use lousy roads in the Tamans with lots of potholes. Yeah you are very advanced I would say!

Just funny that people can be so insensitive about what others have to go through. Maybe a toll charging 7 Ringgit in front of their house gate would wake them up.

Anyway your words is incomprehensible thus may I translate to you, FT stands for foreign talents, the most hated FT in singapore is Ah Tiong hails from PRC, and surprisingly the 2nd most hated FT is a certain ethnic from malaysia started with 'C' , I wonder why...

think lah a little bit, if huge area low density u don't go build expensive MRT/LRT u go build land based LRT, Kommuter train, BRT and so on,it cheaper and more efficient, u could google some city that does it.. JB itself unlike KV, JB is not the centre of gravity the centre in singapore, building a city next to the 2nd link with fast excess to Sg is a no brainer (2 people who have brain lah).sg already so dense, so if u make JB dence also, who gonna come?. trading a jampack apartment/ofice/factory for another jampack apartment/office/factory but much further away. ain't got no appeal kan?.

rail infra isn't everything, busses and taxi are still important, u never ride LRT/MRt kah, u think the station end at your doorstep ke?.if u don't want a proton, then don't go buy it, no body forcing u, but why u hated it anyway is beyond me.

i'm guessing ur r going for poothole bcoz of bocor eh,. guess what here in selangor(where u claim no bocor) they still fail to give all the election promise and the road are still berlubang, so u need to throw out that argument in the bin bcoz it does not hold water..

I just need to prove you wrong on this. Remember you said most people in Singapore drive....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transport_in_Singapore

Look it up: it says 52.4% of S'poreans take the public transport. 41% take private transport (which would also include school, factory, and other private buses, and taxis)....And yes, 6.1% jalan kaki (walk)or don't require transportation!!! These people probably live in the city/town centres and walk to work/school.

So let me ask you again, are you malu or what?

OK I will ask Singaporeans if they really hate Chinese Malaysian FTs from JB.

And I will also post a reply from them here. If they don't then we know who's the liar OK?

OK Daengjal, so where is JB's excellent BRT?? Where is the super efficient and comfortable JB Kommuter train?? Show us where....what about even a blueprint?
tak ade, ade??

I will also go to the Selangor threads to ask folks there if roads are really so "berlubang" like you claimed. Let's gauge from their response OK? Just like Brown Eastern up there about the Singapore issue, I will post their replies here.....

I think what you have stated here is not true. Singaporeans are very much against FT, especially those from PRC, India, Philippines & the Ang Moh (Yes, the westerners). Most of them have no hard feelings against Malaysians. This is because Malaysians and Singaporeans share the same root, with a lot of lifestyle practices in common. The Malaysians have co-exist with Singaporeans since independence, even far before their government started their gate to welcome the new FT. Generally speaking, it is hard to differentiate Malaysians from Singaporeans in their workplace, unless you ask the origin of the person. However, FT from PRC, India and others countries have very much different backgrounds, beliefs & languages, which resulted in conflicts and social disintegration. That is the root cause for them to pile up their hatred feelings against these FT.

AFAIK, Singaporeans only hate a group of Malaysians. They dislike those blue collar workers riding motorbikes into Singapore to work everyday. This is because they have been riding recklessly on their roads, without consideration of safety for others, and created some accidents as well. However, these group of people are not the FT. They are the FW (foreign workers). Most of them are just work permit holders, and do not hold any PR status in Singapore at all. Although they dislike them, they know the country can't do without these group of workers. Almost all factories, construction firms, shipyards and even casinos in Singapore are employing these Malaysians workers, and they are doing the jobs which are not wanted by the local Singaporeans.

I think instead of coming up with new arguments with irresponsible racist remarks, i hope we can unite. As i said before, we Malaysians should unite regardless of race, language or religion. Singaporeans can unite themselves against the FT policy, while we Malaysians are still finger pointing at each other here over meaningless reasons. The only time which i think all Malaysians can unite is during badminton tournament, LCW vs LD!

Lol points at me alone while let the other person walk free, I ask you what is this all about "do go back and hide in a cave and receive free handouts, and not live in the city"? Isn't it racist to generalize all malay receive handouts?... Anyway he still don't give me the answer what is free handouts

About the FT thing, I get their sense oh hatred toward certain ethnic of malaysian when I read their alternative media, I don't why when they voice the hatred they have to specified the word 'c'...And I do agree singaporean are more united against FT and that includes FT coming from here..

My last statement is not meant for you only, but for everyone who has placed sarcastic racist remarks over here. Is my fault if i have mislead you guys on this part. I just want to say these remarks are not helping us to progress as a country. Hopefully we can unite more, just like us watching badminton match together. I think Malaysia seriously needs unity at the moment, before it is too late.

The whole thread blow into a completely different topic
It's getting out of control
I personally thinks that singaporean only dislike a certain sterotype of malaysian , trust me my family and relatives are singaporean .
About the free handOuts remark , I don't think it's racist at all , in fact it is a fact
Come on we all know that
( sorry for bad grammar )

Okay, this is seriously getting out of hand and out of topic. I would like to say this once. In general, the PRCs are the most disliked bunch here. There are other nationalities as well but the main brunt of the dislike are the PRCs.

Anyway, Brown_Eastern, can you provide the sources for your argument about the dislike of a certain ethnic race from Malaysia? Singaporeans seriously do not mind the Malaysians coming to Singapore. Singaporeans will accept them any time over the PRCs.

As for me, I don't mind as long as they don't anything that contradicts what we expect of an individual in a society.

Anyway, please stay on topic.

Ah finally singaporean, as I said before I read that on your alternative media, it's not a specified topic though but that the general feeling you get when you read the comments there..They like to use the word chinese malaysian instead of just malaysian..Thats quite amusing since they are same people , of course most of the time they talk about PRC...

Sometimes, you take alternative media with a pinch of salt. The alternative media in Singapore have too many trolls, imo.

Anyway, I guess some Singaporeans feel that they should take the citizenship and not just the permanent residency. Originally, PR and citizens technically have the same benefits, other than voting. Right now, the government in Singapore is trying to make a clear distinction between a PR and a citizen.

Anyway, this issue is dragging a little too long. We are going way off-topic.
