Today we get informations mainly about local politics (disorders in recent time) and economy (state budget deficit). Czech public service radio has one permanent reporter in Hungary who live there for many years and he reports on events going on there in detail and adds many interesting remarks, funny events etc. He's Slovak BTW, Gregor Martin Papuček .BTW I've translated articles about Miklos Horthy and Béla Kun from English to Czech wikipedia

Sorry for reviving this thread, but I had to
![]() Briefly: I had a very good time in hungary. I was there for two years, and I was able to notice the change. I couldn't see so many differences between Hungary and Spain some years ago. Your country is developing strong and fastly. I wish I could have written this in hungarian, but... I'm forgetting it soooo fastly..

![]() I think that Hungary is a country with a lot of opportunities. It has a central position in Europe (esp. if Eastern Europe would become a lot stronger, economically). With EU money and goodwill of Hungarian authorities, I think Hungary can become a leader within CE. The problem with Hungary (familiar to a Belgian) is that it seems to waste a lot of opportunities and (less familiar) that it keeps its view more to the past than to the future...

This is true, in my business the Hungarian part only exploited my knowledge then tried to trick me, so basically i left this part, only working together with friends on the Hungarian side. The funny part is, the ones that are up for cooperation benefit much more, and have less stress, as they wouldnt be the only ones responsible.. The worst is of course not the lack of cooperation (this would be the second), but the widespread envy.. If somebody achieved anything in life, he or she must be fishy, and probably jewish!
So if we would be able to leave the negative feelings behind, and concentrate on the future, together, we might end up with something much better. This definitely cannot be done via fake identities, symbols and other unnecessary things like the feeling of superiority..
