Traveling around Los Angeles County on public transportation is getting a heck of a lot easier. There are many bus lines, light rail lines, and Metrolink trains to serve your needs.
Could have been a lot more easier had those billions if not trillions in funds over the past 50 decades was used to improve and expand Los Angeles's heavy/light rail system and not wasted on those big ugly concrete monstrosities called freeways.

The freeway building project hasn't been going on for 50 decades and LA surely isn't the only metro w/ ugly freeways or even the most per road mileage in a metro area. Fact:LA would not have had the economy it has today w/o the amazing freeway system that has been built but what needs to accompany that system is one of equal extensiveness that is (preferrably fixed/rail) mass transit.

Ooops! How did that zero get in there? It should have read 5 decades. My apologies for that unfortunate typo incident.

If you thought today's congestion is bad, the Native American tribes had much worse traffic. Bumper-to-bumper bison all day long.

as for the comment about the pools being sewers, that certainly isnt the case with the venice pool, its very clean, except for that sock floating around at the bottom of the pool last night.
What are some of the distances that you are biking/walking? Which busses are you taking? How long is taking? Is it difficult?

oh yes. in the time you've been out of the loop hyundai motor corporation of south korea has decided it wants to move upmarket to compete with well know brands like buick and bmw. also in the works is a new rear wheel drive sports car. visit your local southern california hyundai dealer for more information.

??? Most of their fleet is hybrids. They mostly have Toyotas, Scions and Hondas.

It's totally not expensive if you don't own a car, but need one on occasion. Gas and insurance are included in the costs.
