where to go :

aqaba :very good for scuba diving and other water activity. Not hawaii or miami but corals underwater are amazing. they don't call it red sea for nothing. Besides that it is dead unless ur going with other ppl.

wadi rum : beautiful pink desert.

petra : enough said

the falls of ma'an : hot spring water

Dead sea : enough said

Amman :
I love the old souk or what some refer to as al balad ( downtown) . I love the traditional stores with the mountains in back . Also don't forget the roman theatre which is there and right in front of it the castle on teh mountain ( I did not see it)

Jarash: roman city with a good amount of ruins : homes, 2 roman theatres, streets and pillars, and other.

This is all I know considering that I have been there only once in the last 12 years .

Guys I would really appreciate a fast response on this………….moving from Amman...is it possible to do dead sea and Petra at the same day………if so how and how far is Petra from the dead sea….and what to do first……I think Petra would be better to do first as you get wet and really lazy at the dead sea…….......merci kteeeeeerrrrrrrr

only if you plan to pass by the dead sea quickly on your way to petra as it takes around 2-3 hours to reach from Amman and it may take the rest of the day to explore. Distance to Dead sea ~50km, Amman to Petra ~250 km (approximate) enjoy your time

New building is tallest in Jordan

A new building has staked its claim as being the tallest in Jordan, as completion of 34th floor of one of the under-construction Jordan Gate twin towers makes it officially the tallest in the country, reported Jordan Times. The building, located in the Amman, is planned to reach 44 floors. The two towers of the $300 million project will be connected by a multistory podium.
