I remember some people saying stuff like 'Our infrastructure was always better than in other Balkan countries and mostly is now, remember and don't forget' or something like that

Anyway, is whole bypass of Skopje in use ?

I find it very bad that Macedonian forum is set to readonly, just because of the oldfashioned dumb patriotysm. When will the people there learn that there shouldnīt be a competition to live in peace, but I have to say here, that Bulgarians are probably the most patriotic of all Balkan countries. For Bulgarians their women are the best in the world, their landscpae is the best on earth, the kids are the most intelligent in the world, and the educational system is the best ever, ofcourse thatīs not true.

Guys, I am not in charge of the Macedonian subforum, so this is not the place to complain about it...

By the way, were any of you Croats in the vicinity of Skopje recently?

I wouldn't ask if this street was named differently but the situation being as it is....hmmm....something is fishy here

Recently finnished "Slovenia Boulevard" in Skopje...

What a coincidence, I just saw these pics two days ago. Just one year from opening. What's "Adriatic Highway", btw?

"Jugoexport"?? Are there still companies with "Jugo" in it? I haven't seem them for a long time.

The signs on the last picture are ugly in my opinion. And the translation of "Magistrala" into "Highway" is funny, especially for a country that has no access to the Adriatic

Yes of course there are, not lot of them, but still existing. Jugodrvo.

I agree that these signs are ugly. They first put it in Skopje, now trend is spreading trough whole Macedonia. The signs are unreadable and unnoticeable.

The ammount of dust is incredible, even in Bulgaria itīs way less dust, why is it so much? They should clean it because the road really doesnīt look like opened a few months before.

The signs are crap I agree. Mostly grammatically inaccurate and definitely not really readable.

Adriatic highway has always been the name of that route (towards Kosovo) since former Yugoslavia. It was the shortest route to the Adriatic coast (Yugoslav coast at the time).

The dust/junk. Disgrace. That's why those photos were posted by one of the build.mk members to emphasize both the recklessness of some citizens as well as the city authorities.

Serbia (partially), Slovenia (partially) and Bosnia boulevards exist. Croatia and Montenegro are still not constructed. Together they consist the outer city ring.

I like your English, Dewrob, not so many people from the Balkan countries are able to write that good in English.

Such a small country, but so big distances; not fair.

I think it's a good translation; how would you translate it? Calling it just 'Adriatic Road' sounds mediocre.

Are there many time-subtracting traffic lights in Macedonia?

Nice roads.
BTW, does "Граница" mean border? Or is it a populated place name?
