Are those construction access roads or normal traffic access roads? They seem quite steep.

An express route is planed between Stip and Strumica

New express route with four lanes, two in width by 3.75 meters and 2.5 meters should merge Stip and Strumica until 2020, a project that should follow the announced motorway from Skopje to Stip. In line with the final realization of the promised motorways in eastern Macedonia, the Agency for State Roads today announced a public call for development of project documentation for the construction of the future road A4, the section from Stip to Radovish. At first they will choose a company for the preparation of documentation for this segment, and in the coming period will be followed by a public call for bids for project preparation for the section from Radovish to Strumica. Subjects who are interested to participate in the announcement shall submit their bids by 15 July. The deadline for making the necessary project documentation is 17 months.
*
Agency for State Roads more than a year to develop a study to evaluate the environmental impact of construction on the express way from Stip to Strumica. Macedonia has so far provided funding for the realization of this project, but expectations are that foreign financial institutions would be interest in its implementation after the procedure design. In January this year was put into operation last stretch of motorway M-6 Radovish between Strumica with a length of 10 kilometers.

The two proposed variants of the Demir Kapija - Smokvica section: the route marked by yellow is adopted and the renounced variant that follows the existing route is marked in red.

Starting this year they doesn't take euro coins anymore. But you can pay with any credit or debit cards.

I paid with euro-coins last year. Workers at toll booths tried to gave me back denars, but as I asked them to give me back euro, regardless of mumbling, they always did it.

So this stretch of app. 30km and that from Leskovac to after Vranje in Serbia should conclude no earlier than 2016 but are final and will mark E-75 as a highway all down to Athens and northwards to Budapest

In 2016 we'll have motorway completed in Serbia and Macedonia, but Greeks don't have any plan for stretch Evzoni-Thessaloniki- that will be only 1+1 part of CX.

Lucky you!
But when you arrive on any SRB, ALB, MK, BG or TR custom, save that banknote, cause it will be part of your passport

I have done the trip TR - B several times now (I'm a retired Belgian living in Kusadasi) and I have never paid anyone to cross a border easily...
