Are there any plans to build new road from Kosovo border to Skopje, since the Prishtina - Hani Elezit motorway is being built now?

There are plans, but so far no significant moves are taken by the Macedonian government. I think that they still search for a consulting company to estimate the viability of the future highway.

Actually, there are plans for the reconstruction of the section Miladonovci-Kumanovo. Probably it will happen in 2015.

Few years ago, there were parking places on the left side! Perhaps leftovers of time when there was only one carriageway.

New prices on the Macedonian pay tolls (on the photo are shown only the prices of one pay toll). The Macedonian government now allowed paying with coins of 1, 2 or 5 Euros.

They are taking it loosely with the exchange rate... The toll rates in euros are substantially higher than in denar.

Since I'm gonna drive through Macedonia tomorrow, I asked myself what they have made up this year after last year fiasco with 5 Euro banknotes. To be honest, I'm not disappointed. Bloody Macedonians. Nobody will take them serious after such behaviour.
