Probably because it comes after a long line of twisting towers around the world. If this were the first then it would be an absolute marvel.

Maybe, but there is so much variety in twisting structures. Every twisting tower is unique by itself. No one is tired of of glass boxes too.

Just wait until the cladding is installed, it will probably gain more popularity.
Either that, or it will break the building.

The site is so ordered and clean that the progress is barely noticeable at this height and almost nohing is left to coment about. I am indeed expecting for the cladding.

The wait for cladding is killing me since it looks like they are having to decide whether or not to use white cladding panels in between the panes of glass. I hope they do, since it would be more interesting.

The cladding like on the Taunusturm in Frankfurt would be awesome.

Eh, I don't really think so. This is a wonderful building for sure, but hardly of the same significance that the Parthenon was. It's design is good, but not that original, except for the top, and it isn't tall enough to be an icon in a modern sensationalist society like ours.

From this angle it looks separated from the cluster.

Looks fantastic so far.

However, they should have made this tower the centerpiece of the Moscow City district - right in the middle of it rather than on the outside and 100m higher.

Don't worry. A skyscraper will be built behind it soon and the gap will be filled.

If it were in the middle it would be blocked by the other skyscrapers. The additional height won't 'help' much since to appreciate the beauty of the tower it has to be seen all way long from the bottom to the top.

I think this "twisting" is by far much more dramatic than Torso or Infinity tower

The spiral goes indeed much further. Infinity has around 90 degrees and Turning Torso also 90 degrees. The most spiraling tower I know of is the F&F Tower in Panama, but this one looks way better.
