Sila Gotianun sa Filinvest may ginagawa kasing malaking project malapit sa Casino. Tinutulungan ko sila sa ibang boats, HUGE HUGE investment. Resort and nagabenta rin silang lots and condos yata. Anyway they'll put up a sailing club that will be operational within a few months and IT WILL BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC FOR FREE IN THE MEANTIME (siyempre magapose ka lang na buyer ha ). Looks like a good project kaya akalo this was it. Good to see something else happening in Samal.

FLI sets aside P16B for 3-year expansion plan

PROPERTY firm Filinvest Land Inc. is setting aside P16 billion for its expansion in the next three years, which will involve mainly housing projects, said FLI first vice president Fely Ramos.

The boom in the property sector has been fueled by record low interest rates, an increase in remittances from overseas Filipino workers and strong demand for office spaces, especially from business process outsourcing firms.

FLI said its three-year expansion plan would be financed with cash generated from operations, borrowings and the P5.9 billion in proceeds from the company's additional shares offering.

Under the plan, FLI will set aside P5 billion for 2007, P5.3 billion for 2008 and P6.1 billion for 2009.

The company will focus on low- and middle-income housing projects, high-end, leisure and farm estates, a condominium hotel in Cebu, the Northgate Cyberzone, and medium-rise buildings.

In 2007 alone, FLI has listed 14 projects for launching. These include condotels, medium-rise buildings and residential resort communities.

The company is also expanding to areas outside Greater Metro Manila, particularly in high growth regional centers.

There is an ongoing expansion in North Luzon with the development of Somerset Lane in Tarlac and Hampton Orchards and Claremont Village in Pampanga.

Kembali Coast in Samal Island, Davao, is a beachfront residential resort development. This 50-hectare Asian-Balinese inspired island getaway offers exclusivity within a 1.8-kilometer beachfront that offers unobstructed view of the sea. Other regional projects are Escala in Cebu and West Palms in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

Kembali Coast or Azure. Samal Marina of the Bangayans sounds promising too, (if indeed it's not the AZURE project they are building) what with the Bangayan's seal of excelence on it.
