I doubt. Where would it go anyway? If you wanna go to Eisenstadt or Sopron, you can use A2 and S4.

I guess so. but I wonder why there's 4-way interchange instead of normal T-interchange.

^ I think so that people coming from B54 don't have to go through Neunkirchen to get to S6 (there's also no interchange on A2 nearby).

It was called A27 until 2009 and was more logical. Only in Italy we have numbers with dir, racc, bis,... or double numbers such A11/A12.

That was exactly what made me doubt about that A6 ends in B54. But maybe the best way to find it out is to take a look at it with my eyes.

I asked it because in Summer if I go trough Austria, than I might go this way and I would like to take a video of the entrie S6, so first I should to figure out where S6 begins

Today I managed to edit and upload some videos I recorded last September in Austria, Slovenia and Hungary. They are edited to be 3.5x-4.5x faster than the original video. The entire route you can see in this clips is this one (each point on the map is the end of one clip and the beginning of the next one).

At 11:49 I was close to getting a fine because I was doing about 115 km/h in a 100 km/h speed limit area.

A9 needs an urgent repavement.

*There will be music added later after YouTube AudioSwap does it's job.

You can check the rest of the videos on the Driving videos thread.

Can anyone tell me how much does the maintenance of one long motorway tunnel in Austria cost per year?

I'l publish some more pictures taken on this route (from Klagenfurt to Graz and then to the Slovenian border on A2 and A9 autobahns).

There were traffic lights at (almost) every tunnel:

Annoying 100 km/h speed limit at every tunnel... you can't drive at a constant speed

Nice castle on the hill (left side):

Nice 3-lane section...

The pavement needs some improvement from now on...

Taking the exit from A2 to A9 in direction Maribor-Slovenia:

Maybe the biggest country sign I've ever seen:

Gas prices:

Approaching the Slovenian border:

The border crossing is just 500 m ahead:

Motorway ends sign in Austria, motorway begins sign in Slovenia

I could bet any money that S6 ends in B54 (and other ramps are probably S6 as well).

Two different jurisdictions. The Austrian motorway sign isn't valid in Slovenia.

But signs are different. Maybe one country has blue signs, the other green. Maybe the sizes are different.

Yeah, I understand the need for beginning-of-motorway sign, but it doesn't need to "end" before that.
