Naga City Public Market
What meets the eye when crossing the Tabuco bridge is the hubbub of traders and marketgoers at the Naga City Public Market, used to be south east asia's largest and still one of the largest public market today.

New Urdaneta City Public Market

More recent pics of my hometown's market (New Urdaneta City Public Market). Pictures were taken from inside the car. My apologies for that.

It's not as pretty as Dagupan's Malimgas Market but it sure is huge. Building A houses the wet market on the ground floor & parking on the upper floors. Building B houses stalls for various types of business/merchandise such as clothing, newstands, barber shops, dentist clinics, eye clinics, other types of clinics, pet shops, specialty shops, beauty parlors & restaurants. Basically everything other than the wet market. The top floor houses the amusement/gaming center (video games, kiddie rides & bingo). The market also has escalators for accessibility to people especially the elderly & the disabled as well as the lazy people.

This has got to be one of the largest Public City Markets I've ever seen. I thought the Vigan & Laoag City markets were huge but after its completion, those two markets paled in comparison to the size of the Urdaneta Market. A little make over of its exterior would be nice though.

I'll take more pictures from other angles to show just how large this structure really is.

recently, luzon avenue cor commonwealth ave's illegal vendors were cleared by the mmda to make way for the road widening project. but now, they are back, with intoxicating odors that emanate from their make-up stands. i think the owner of the lot beside pure-gold should donate the lot for the construction of a cleaner palengke, to stop the illegal vendors from putting-up stands along commonwealth to tandang sora crossing... calling mayor sonny!!

Nagimasen! Kagagaling lang namin ng Ilocos (Norte/Sur) last december. Pinuno namin ng bagnet, longganisa at bagis (bituka)yung sasakyan. Pangasinan bagoong yung sawsawan. Ilang araw lang ubos na.

This, unfortunately, is the sad truth.

Regardless of that, let's still hope for the best.
