we will have to ask them to justify this sort of ridiculous charge!!... they may have laid gold cables to transfer electricity to our apartments
afterall it is a world class beachfront (with no beach in the front!!) project )

Hi everyone,
We are looking to purchase a 2 bed townhouse ( either type B or C ) has anyone bought here? would be grateful to find out what all the extra costs are ie electric etc plus the yearly fees etc??? many thanx |

I have been on that website several times and it appears a bit rubbish, it may seem like a quality website but it's all show and no substance.

I have received letter dated 1st sept today informing me that my apartment in RB2 is going to be ready for handover by 1st Oct 2011 and to schedule an appointment for snagging with Ms. Irene on realestate@alhamravillage.com. You could also write to Mr. Ranjan Ghosh on ranjan@alhamravillage.com he replies promptly.
The connection charges are very high but then we are supposed to bite the bullet as...it is what it is and no changes expected. Service charges are AED 10/sqft as opposed to AED 7 for marina apartments as RB is supposed to be a premium property. On website (alhamravillage.webs.com) there are comments about quality of finish and material used by people who have done snagging. cheers Last edited by APURB CHHIBBER; September 18th, 2011 at 12:05 PM. Al Hamra is bullying people into paying up and rushing them through with the inspection and snagging - a blatant attempt to circumvent their responsibility of delivering 5 star apartments with completed associated infrastructure and landscaping and dedicated beach.
It's up to investors not to take this lying down and write to relevant authorities with our concearns. The least we should do is to demand that handover be extended by at least 3 months so that we can do proper inspection and snagging, and also gives a chance for Al Hamra to complete the surrounding infrastructure and facilities, and confirm the beach facility. It looks like another site, Al Hamra Dreams is coming back to life, so may be worth keeping an eye on there as well. Please put forward your ideas on how we fight Al Hamra Estates to secure what we paid for. Maybe even worth thinking about setting up a fund to get legal advice. But remember, the time to act is now! |

hi all
i am thinking to sue alhamara village for the royal breeze apartments.. we paid in 2007 thinking it will finish in 2009 and at that time prices high racketed and they have waited to start building especially for Royal breeze 5 in late2009 when prices of construction very low comparing to 2007 and 2008 in other developers, they have decreased the prices ... so it is win win... beside they are fooling us.. all the clauses in the contract are for the benefit of the developer please let me know if others are welling to sue alhamara village so they can lower the prices by at least 25% |
