Hi

Where are those photos taken from?.. looks like a lot of development in the area.

Is this development supposed to be on Al Marjan

We visited the site last week and construction was going on at all the RB buldings at a good pace. At least, there a few projects around that are getting done even though they have been delayed !!

One thing struck me though is that the sales person who took us to the site when asked about access to the beach informed us that they are not sure how access to the beach would be given. They still need to work that out. That sounds quite strange and disturbing considering that the property was sold as a waterfront one.

Also, the land in front of RB now sports a high wall which blocks off the view of the beach from ground level. This is the private property of someone else - not Al Hamra and there will be some development there at some stage. For now though, that high wall looks really bad.

Anyone else has any information regarding these - both beach access and the private land opposite RB?

Hi Pooja, see the discussion on this thread page 6...its all about the location, access to the beach (or lack of it) and the ownership of the land beyond "THE WALL"...BTW are you planning to buy something there or have you given up on the idea...if you are who are you dealing with and what prices are being quoted currently

Cheers

Hi Pooja

I was told by the sales person who was showing me around some time ago that this plot of land for sectioned off for the sheikh of RAK to build his beach hut. The lady couldnt tell me anything about beach access even though i agree with you when you say it is being sold as a waterfront one.

Hi all

Brand new to this site but interesting reading. I have not paid my last instalment for the past year due to the project being so behind (RB3-02). Not once have I been contacted by the agent even though I have made numerous calls explaining to them they will not be paid. Emails are never responded to either.
Having not been to RAK I would love some body with inside knowledge to enlighten me as to the stage of building three.... The agents have got to be the most incompetent bunch of individuals that I have ever had to deal with.
Does any body know the prices at the moment both sale and rental?

Many thanks. I don't bite, just frustrated

Hi JumboUK, I myself own an Apartment in RB3, so when I went to Al Hamra a couple of months back, I looked at that one keenly. As I mentioned in my previous post, work was in progress at a good pace. Almost 6 floors were up in RB3. The agent mentioned that work would get completed by the end of this year, but I doubt that from experience. Nevertheless, progress was good. Since Royal Breeze is the last and final stage of Al Hamra Village, all others having already been completed, I am certain that they will finish it sooner, rather than later. The agent admitted that work had been at a standstill for some time, but they were back on it now.
You are right though that the customer service is almost completely lacking. As a matter of fact, we had them check their records to ensure they had our correct contact details, which they did. But, they have never ever communicated with us on any matter, not even to ask for payment.

Does anyone have any update regarding the electricity and water situation at Al Hamra now?

I made a visit to the site yesterday and was very impressed with the progress of the project. All the RB buildings were build built at a reasonably fast pace and according to the site engineer, the project should be handed over by Feb/March 2011. I will try and post a few pictures that I took in a day or two.
