I know the Mirvac tower is going to be taller than this in number of stories but how does that relate to metres?

I don't think so. The third Hamilton Harbour building was scheduled to begin in April, so I imagine the core for that one has started to rise as well by now (not apparent in Aussiebhoy's pics). Brookfield Multiplex also have their Promenade tower at Portside U/C now (across the road).

Neither Citimark or Mirvac have started their towers yet... In any case they are not part of "Hamilton Harbour" - they are on blocks of land sliced off Portside.

If you look down Arthur Street in Fortitude Valley, you can actually see this thing rising on the horizon... I was quite startled to see a core and cranes in that direction.

It doesn't feel that a long time has passed since I photographed the basements taking shape.

I like the contrast in the first shot. You have a typical residential street with Queenslander homes with modern apartment towers rising right over them.

Same with Ipswich Road at Annerley. There is a cluster of buildings over in the middle of nowhere rising and it is this.

Wow, from Annerley?! Would be nice to see some more views of these towers from distant locations.

You get a nice view of these from the Gateway Mwy too, and also Park Road.
