I know the Mirvac tower is going to be taller than this in number of stories but how does that relate to metres?

Neither Citimark or Mirvac have started their towers yet... In any case they are not part of "Hamilton Harbour" - they are on blocks of land sliced off Portside. |

If you look down Arthur Street in Fortitude Valley, you can actually see this thing rising on the horizon... I was quite startled to see a core and cranes in that direction.

Good update. I remember walking up from my motel in early 2009 to get the paper after an overnight stay and walking past the Caltex. I recall nothing there and thinking what would be there.
It doesn't feel that a long time has passed since I photographed the basements taking shape.

I like the contrast in the first shot. You have a typical residential street with Queenslander homes with modern apartment towers rising right over them.

Same with Ipswich Road at Annerley. There is a cluster of buildings over in the middle of nowhere rising and it is this.

Wow, from Annerley?! Would be nice to see some more views of these towers from distant locations. That is a great shot, the towers are so massive and dominating, and at the end of a quite suburban street, its like a NIMBY's worst nightmare. Although by far the best part of the photo is that random shoe dangling down into the top of shot

Hopefully these will drive some of the remaining Nimbys out to Northlakes.

You get a nice view of these from the Gateway Mwy too, and also Park Road.

I think another crane went up last weekend next to KSD. It looks like their starting the office buildings.
