Calm down. This means much more than it sounds like. The UEC was the last show stopper for the Grand Haytt tower and the PwC tower. Now with this being built those two towers are absolutly save now. Also, I cannot imagine that the office towwer will be built after all of before mentioned is finished. It does not make sense in many aspects. You will see.

Btw., before I forget:

exactly. with the skyline plaza frankfurt will get the office tower for pricewaterhouse coopers and the hyatt tower. thats already two skyscrapers. the uec office tower will follow when they find an anchor tenant. the way things go right now, I wouldn't be surprised if they find the anchor tenant before construction starts...so right now we get 2 skyscrapers, instead of 3 ... big deal ..

Skyline plaza implies the ambitions connected with this project. Now with this being started I am really confident to see the rest being realized in reasonable period of time (included MT).

HD, the deal is even better. 2 of 4 scyscrapers being started instead of nothing...

Even if this development of things had to be expected, these are still fantastic news!

I do, the distance from Skyline Plaza to PwC tower (Tower 185) is bigger than to Millenium Tower, though we are talking about a few meters. Both are officially and physically not part of this project. Both are cut by a street in between. Though the parking for the PwC tower will be placed within the Skyline Plaza. As you see it is hard to say were the borders are, especially when all of it is developed and built by the same company and on their ground.

I didn't think of MT because I doubt anything will happen there before skyline plaza and T185 are built, but yes - we should count it in. MT is the next step ...

I'm sorry if that post bothered you, but when I find something obviously wrong, I comment on it. And this had no basis with truth.

That said, This is a great thread and thanks for starting it

The project has now been renamed to Skyline Plaza and the cinema complex and office tower will not be a part of this revised concept. The height of the hotel tower will now be 135 metre instead of 160 metres.

Emporis still says: 150m

http://www.emporis.com/ge/wm/bu/?id=...nkfurt-germany

but emporis is NOT an official source, we have had heights from 150m to more than 165m.

so lets see what comes out finally, its sure that it will be at least 150m.

The name change info has already been posted before.
Plus I agree with the others. Doubt the height will be reduced.

Anyways, absolutely splendid news for Frankfurt!
