I think it's great to have the mall as a means of passage. As said above, people can easily walk around if they prefer, but why not something different. One thing I always missed in Frankfurt was the lack of arcades that other cities have. Year, we have a couple, but not many and nothing special architecturally. I always loved walking through arcades regardless of shopping or not. It was just a nice change in scenery and has many advantages during extreme weather.

Thanks for the link. As you say, a pity that details are limited and no large rendering of the interior. But from what I do see I think this is going to be a great addition to Frankfurt.

One question though. What are those U-bahn stations shown on the right hand plan? There seems to be two that don't exist. I haven't heard of such plans.

Since this project clearly is under construction now, I moved the Skyline Plaza thread to the skyscraper forum.

And besides, I updated the initial post of the thread to show recent renderings etc.
