How can you say the exterior is ugly when it is not even close to complete. The latest render can be seen in the pic from last year -

New tower designed by James Law for Parinee developers in Bandra. This is the project with the pools in the balconies and not aquaria grande as the word is spreading on the internet.

This project is in tendering stage right now for a civil contractor.

Bandra Ohm/Parinee Ism

Parinee Ism is a 140m tall residential tower in India, designed by world renowned architect James Law of James Law Cybertecture International. The design concept of the tower is inspired by the ripple effect generated by water droplets, which is also known as the capillary wave.

The image of the ripple emphasizes fluidity and this idea is reflected in the tower’s design. The outline of the tower demonstrates the fluidity and dynamic nature of the ripple. The outline and the ripple pattern can be conceived as an abstract representation of the symbol Ohm (Ω). The ripple effect usually generates a vortex-like space in the center. The tower design is trying to recapture the essence of this space by creating a large void in the middle along with a special designed clubhouse form. With approximately 30 storeys of residential units, Bandra Ohm aims to provide a luxurious living environment and experience to the residents.

Probably wont happen for a while considering how close it is to the naval base.

Yep, it's touch and go.

Depends on the tower's location and its proximity to the different 'sites' of the base.

There's a 22 storey building west of Trata but the Navy didn't raise any brouhaha with that. However they have a beef with Harsiddhi Heights, an 18 storey white building on the north side. That tower won't be seen on GE's next update.

Cov Boy - They've started scouting for a contractor to build it, so it seems to be fine. The exact location is unknown but it could be in the Bandstand area where the Taj's new tower has been cleared to rise to a similar height of 140 meters.

CG - I've moved your post to the BKC thread.
