I'm not celebrating any good news until I see progress. We had too many good news that meant nothing at all for these projects in south Korea

http://biz.chosun.com/site/data/html...html?main_hot1

Prepare resume Parc1 construction

-at the moment Y22 negotiation to gathering 2조3천억원 $ 2 billions project financing
-Some korea financial concern said "(By supreme court decision) land problem resolved. And also project financing will be well"
-beside PF negotiation construction resume negotiation under ongoing
-SAMSUNG construction said "We managed well in Parc1. So it is no problem right now resume construction"
-Meanwhile SAMSUNG construction asking give more 2~3000억원 2~3 millions due to construction material price rise up during project relayed
-But it will take few month cause PF amount too huge to handle in short time.
-About 2~30 bank and stock company will be participated on Parc1 PF
-Also it will take few month for delivery construction material import from abroad.
-Moreover Banks alliance who participated on Parc1 asking to sold out to market. But Y22 opposite sold out Parc1 to market.
-Actually behind scene Some china company asking sold out ALL project(not only PF but also whole building too) to their.
Because Parc1 location is very good and very ideal place for landmark.

so never mind whether Parc1 sold out to china company or not.

in short nevertheless any case building rise up(above newspaper biz.chosun is korea forbes so this article have a meaning)

Found a recent news broadcast regarding Parc 1.
They are positive about it, but also worrisome due to the empty office buildings in Yeouido Island.

thanks bro

IFC mall is my best favorite mall in seoul
LWT mall is good but I more prefer IFC mall. very clean and open space and tall ceiling and few shopper amazing.

70% empty rate not real problem. cause other global landmark building need a few years for full occupy building. IFC recently completion so it is normal process until building full.

recently some huge company move to IFC. for example IBM korea

Well that's good news. I hope this goes well. I love the exoskeleton finish, and it would be amazing if they lit the thing up with neon, accompanied by IFC's unique criss-cross lighting at its slanted side! TBH I just wish the residential buildings of Korea would give up the concrete, and start employing a glass exterior like condos going up in Toronto (and also like Parc 1). I'm pretty sure they have the money for it since the construction companies are normally huge chaebol conglomerates but I wonder why they go mainstream for the apartments. Most of the Korean skyline resembles a communist city because of this concrete mess. Time for a change.

ABSOLUTELY
IFC's criss cross lighting is my best favorite neon in seoul.
when i take a subway and go to hongdae then i see that light in the middle of han river. that gorgeous.
one simple creative lighting dramatically changed seoul's night sky.

commie block and korean style apartment i really hate that.
I envy london's new residence style. each of them have unique design.

bytheway some creative design goes on but boxy design is good for wind flow, furniture arrange, sun shine bright inside etc.

so now those creative design react from korean consumer.

but I don;t like that really ugly

Ah never thought of those useful/practical things that come with the ugliness haha. Parc 1 seems to have a purple lighting so that will look amazing side by side with the IFC.

Head line "Parc1 dream will come reality?"

"We very busy to make PF(project financing) from bank alliance. If PF success then U/C resume possible. But bank alliance asking guarantee from SAMSUNG C&T for Parc1 project's completion. So anything not yet confirm so far" say Y22 CONCERN

anyother bank but KB handle all Parc1 project very MEANINGFUL!
Cause KB bank is korea NO 1 bank but have no head office tower so far.
So so far many timew KB bank looking for proper site for to built Group tower in seoul.
Even IFC seoul(20METER DISTANCE FROM PARC1) was one of candidate for HQ of KB.

Finally KB take project financing of Parc1 whichmean KB PROBABLY RE-BUYING PARC1 AS GROUP'S HEAD OFFICE!
It is just my opinions but why not? KB has no HQ They have been looking many place for HQ in seoul. Almost 20 years they finding for.....why not Parc1.
I bet KB take Parc1's resume is advance participation for buying HQ

That is surprising, that they didn't have an HQ. I had always assumed that they were entirely located in an office building somewhere in Jongno, but I know that Yeouido is more specialized in the finance industry.

Inno, any idea why they chose to be involved in building Parc1 instead of taking up space in the IFC building? I'd think they'd rather just be able to move right into that already-completed building. I've also wondered about the IFC complex's occupancy rate; is it still mostly unoccupied, or have other companies moved in?
