they are strong bank it almost same status as government bank.
I don;t know why KB bank kick out by Y22
Cause they are NO 1 korea bank.

Y22 and Samsung C&T officially cancel contract

The project keeps moving forward. Y22 and Samsung C&T have announced today that their initial contract has been rescinded following discussions over the last few months. This is another step in the right direction, as it means that the new contractor, POSCO, would now be in position to start working when construction actually restarts. No words on the timeline for resumption yet, but we should hear from Y22 fairly soon about the next steps.

삼성물산이 시공을 맡아 2007년 공사를 시작했다. 하지만 2010년 10월 시행사인 Y22 측과 토지소유주인 통일교재단 간의 지상권 설정등기 말소 소송으로 공사가 중단됐다. 공정률이 50% 정도 진행된 상황에서 소송으로 공사가 중단된 것이다. 소송이 끝난 2014년 7월 이후에도 공사가 진행되지 못했다.

Y22 측은 다시 공사를 시작하면 마무리까지 3년 이상 걸릴 것으로 관측하고 있다.

POSCO Contract being finalized. Possible start of construction in late october

Financing in almost complete and negociations with POSCO are well underway for the construction works. The contract has apparently been agreed on by YG22 and POSCO in mid-august. Apparently, the developers and promoters have put quite a bit of pressure on POSCO, who will have to work with a 37-month timeframe to complete the project (late 2019). So there is a hard deadline which should help speed up the project.

Apparently, POSCO's board will have to greenlight the agreement during its october meeting, meaning that POSCO's second largest investor, The Saudi Asian Investment Company, would also have to approve it.

Once the contract goes through POSCO's board, construction could start within a week, so that would mean that according to the current timeline, construction could resume by the end of october.

So great news all around!

Hyundai Department Store to open Seoul's largest department store in Parc1 complex

The title is pretty self-explanatory. Hyundai Department Store has been picked by developer Y22 to develop and manage the complex's future department store. It's an other sign that things are picking up (again, construction could possibly resume within a month or so). Hyundai currently has 16 department stores in Korea, including 8 within Seoul proper. The new Parc1 department store will reach all the way up to the 9th floorm and have a total floor space of 89100m2. This will be the company's second largest after the one in Pangyo which opened up last year.

Another good thing is that Lotte wasn't chosen to manage the department store, because Lotte's department store aren't as good as Hyundai or Shinsegae's ones.

Seems, now, like maybe sooner rather than later. Here's to hoping we're not disappointed again.

Then, all Yeouido will need is that residential tower development behind the LG twins to seem visually impressive. Maybe they could turn some of the lanes of those wide streets into cycling paths, too? I always thought, with Yeouido being so flat and the park nearby, it'd be an ideal place to emphasize cycling, much though that may not fit in with the traditional idea of a business district.

There are some residential redevelopment projects going on right now. The focus right now is on the "Seoul Apartment" complex (just next to the LG Tower and the Han river). I think the Sujeong Apartment have started discussions as well, while the other ones (Samik, Sambu, Jangmi, Mokwha, Gongjak, Hanyang, Daegyo, Hwarang, Sibeom, Eunha, Jinju) will be a bit further down the road. But Yeouido is probably going to be one of the next waves of reconstruction after Gaepo (Gangnam) and Banpo (Seocho).

Yes. As you know Parc1 is best ideal location for landmark.
I can go there 20 minute from my home when New subway completed(shinanasansun)
So this Parc1 project very important for me.
I gonna take a photos when resume U/C

LG gonna occupy that building as division head office.
So my opinions LG HQ(i.e. twin tower) will be REBUILT AS another landmark when after Parc1 completed.
