Nice building. What are the transport infrastructure arrangements for all these new developments? Although this project is relatively centrally located compared to others, it still seems that Seoul is highrise-sprawling.

The new subway line 9 will hopefully be finished by the end of the year. Yeouido station is close by, and a new station at the National Assembly will be the closest to Parc1.

Mistake

Hi guys !

I'm new here, happy to follow all these towers in progress, it's so exciting... I will be in Korea soon, I hope to see it by myself and post news about it.

Korea 2002, about skyline on Yeouido island, I think you did a mistake, don't you think ?
The tower next to 63 building, on the right (same height), is not planned for Seoul but for Busan !

By the way, about Parc1, news of the contruction ?

Nice tower for a very nice, but quite unpretty city.

Look forward to see it rise.

I wouldn't say Seoul is an ugly city. Due to fast growth after the war torn capital city, it's quite impressive and has one of the best infrastructures in the world and the world's most wired and technologically advanced city. Of course the apartments around Seoul (esp those commie built in 70-80s) are an eye-sore but it's slowly re-designing itself and becoming very green...compared to Tokyo and Beijing

In the next couple of years Seoul will be a nicer, cleaner, and a tall city, full of design.

hope with my life, but I doubt it will happen as long as lee myung bak is in charge of the country. We should brace ourselves for next chaos he'll bring.

I live in Copenhagen, have visited Seoul in November and I think that it is a really nice city. But it is not pretty in my opinion - but that - of course - is subjective.

Nice tower though.

Which cities do I find pretty? It definately doesn't have to be European-style. Chinese hutongs are very pretty for instance and so is Sanaa.

I don't find Toronto pretty either by the way.

let's calm down a little, buddies,, I think TORONTOCOPENHAGEN is not bashing korea/seoul..
actually as a Seoul resident, I can say Seoul is not that pretty and photogenic for its crap buildings for now. but hopefully we're now on the way getting nicer and cooler with much policies and toils.

a tip : I recommend to TORONTOCOPENHAGEN to get a wandering around Bukchon, a traditional town of seoul in the north of CBD if you get another chance next. That's so good place to feel what is korea like.

If you want those type of "atmosphere", try Bukchon like Mussoda
said earlier, and I would also recommend Insadong, Samcheongdong,
and Sinsa-dong. Insadong delivers a traditional Korean feel while Samcheongdong and Sinsa-dong Garosugil delivers an artistic Korean feel with
beautiful tree-lined streets and beautiful shops/restaurants.

I did go to Bukchon and Insadong and really liked it there - just as I liked Seoul as a city. Just saying that I don't find it pretty - ugly cities can be very nice.

Not really dizzing Seoul - just saying my opinion so chill a little...
