yeah well, considering the amount of gay men at SSC that could become the the most popular thread ever. anyway jankovic was taken out by marion bartoli which was nice. that woman is lush.

Not sure what is more annoying in the womens game ATM. The constant grunting and groaning by most players after every shot or, Ana and her clenched fist routine. I can understand if she's won an important set, maybe even game. But she is now doing it after EVERY point won. Bahhh!

All said though, I'll miss her good looks.

beautiful ana may have lost in the final of the indian wells tournament, owing to what can only be described as highly suspicious officiating, but she remains the starlet of the circuit. strike a pose for us, ana!

Thought I would highjack this thread for any thoughts on who apart from Ivanovic will do well at The Australian Open apart from the usual Belgium/Williams lot. I was hoping that Dementieva would do well, but have just found out she retired last October. Dememetieva must be one of the finest woman players to have never won a Grand Slam Event.

Poor Ana was beaten in a first round match, she played well but lost in the third set 9-7 ? her opposition a Russian girl played to the max. I think Ana is on the way back but a few loose shots cost her, that and problems with her first serve.
