The 2 towers are completing soon. i know that tower b is 90% completed per the progress claim. But prince tower (super condo) is v slow. Any idea when it is due for completion?

Thanks Itoyak for your update on the aquatica. Ya, notice the sea world sign, but so far no work in progress for it it seems. i guess they may find it a bit risky at this point to invest in such thing now. But no jeti was being constructed in kk yet, if they are serious of having the hoovercraft, should see some work being carried out. But now all quiet down already.

Progress claim is one thing, physical progress seem to tell a different story - refer pictures above as evidence

2 days ago.....the ceilling of Tune hotel 1 borneo collapse because of heavy rains.....and they had to closed 25 rooms because its flooded!! When checked....the gutter on the roof top is full of rubbish(plastics tapau and etc)....and clocked the drain....rubbish suspected came from the workers who throw it everywhere....

haha..buat maluje....dats wat we call a budget hotel....

i guess the developer used a cheap materials....cant imagine dis since 1borneo just opend...buat maluje....

Not just budget hotel lah - try finding out what happened at hotel next door on opening day ? For those who recall, was also heavy rain the day before too

Thanks, i didnt realise that the photos are taken on 13 sept, so it's quite updated. You are right, its still a long way to completion, may be end of this yr i guess. Is it possible that a stuck drain can cause the collapse? Is the workmanship that terrible?

I would not go so far as to say it's terrible, perhaps sub-standard; you will notice numerous areas where floor tilings have either come off or removed for rectification works, also many patches on the ceiling with evidence of leakages and other ad-hoc works made necessary
It may be well due to a shortage of properly skilled workers to undertake the job - remember there was another big project, KKIA being built at same time. Plus, they were really pushing the schedule to almost impossible extremes it seem

Now, what is this I hear of the condo towers construction slowing down ?
