1Borneo as it seems with the construction, looks very much like just a humungous shoplot/office plaza... Something like Lintas Square but just bigger... Note the windows... Very squarish and cheap simple. I hope there's more to this than it seems.

OMG ! Alamesra is so empty. I start to worry how the 1-borneo will be. My uncle bought 1 Lot in Alamesra and he told me that Alamesra is a total failure. Even he drop the rental to very cheap still no one want to rent it.

Really started to worry abt the KK shoplot now since most of them are almost completed !

Yes, apart from the Tune Hotel, there is Novotel in this mall as well...

That's great. Any other new malls under construction in Sabah and Sarawak?

There are quite a number of mall constructions in Sabah and Sarawak....

As of Sabah, most of the malls constructions are in Kota Kinabalu, although there are a few in Sandakan, Tawau and Lahad Datu as well....

The 1 Borneo mall is going to be the largest in East Malaysia...

I understand there are four hotels signed up at 1 Borneo as of now :
Novotel (263 rooms)
Mercure (341 rooms)
Tune (168 rooms)
Best Western Courtyard (160 rooms)
