Last step for Piedmontese Pedemontana motorway.

Next Thursday Cipe (Inter-ministry committee for economic planning) is going to gather in order to discuss the financing the 654-M€, 40-km motorway which will join A26 and A4 passing near Biella. If Cipe approves, then works can begin.

This. There is always something different with those signs, especially at the RA13×RA14 interchange (Turkey added this time). Nice pics though and great views on Trieste.

According to forumer SvenHassel in the Italian forum, Autostrada Pedemontana Lombarda now under construction north of Milan will get the official denomination of A36.

The news is still not available to the general public, as this was a private communication from the Infrastructure Ministry to the companies which work there - preparing signs etc.

This news is dated 10 September 2013.

I like that, it makes sense to number it as an autostrada.

Well, it IS an autostrada. I don't know what are they planning on naming Pedemontana Veneta, which is NOT an autostrada.

I agree. Apparently it won't meet the autostrada standard width for only 0.5 m (24.5 m vs 25 m).

Fixed it

Anyway, this choise is logical (if you think to the recently-named A34 and A35) but after A21racc we could expect everything.

Wild guess for the future: A58 for the TEEM.

It was built in that way to bypass beaurocratic procedures to build a new motorway. Since the superstrada standard is 22.5 it will be almost an autostrada.

Stupid signs pointing to a generic "Slovenia" around Trieste: They should instead signpost the Slovenian towns or the names of the border crossings.

Finally they replaced the old wrong green sign with the correct blue one.

I don't know if you made this yourself, but first lane is there, dude. Use it sometimes.

In fairness, he is overtaking other cars all the time, and not clogging the leftmost lane at all.

No, he's sitting in the middle lane all the time, even when the first's empty. Entire first half of the video.

He's just avoiding going in-and-out the right lane on a light traffic day

I think it is okay to stay in the middle lane if traffic is light and the left lane is empty (so anyone can still pass you). He is not clogging the left lane.
