I went there 3 weeks ago. Works aren't finished but normally going 80km/h without staying on queues (section from Cessalto to Venezia Est).
To La Spezia I don't know but on Autostrade website there's nothing mentioned

There is a roundabout at the northern end but... It's an expressway . The costs were 44 million € according to the news article. Unfortunately, it does not contain any information when the works have been started on this section........

Few minutes ago the 6.6 km from Albettone/Barbarano to Agugliaro on the A31 "Valdastico Sud" opened for traffic.

The works started in June 2012, so it took exactly 2 years to be completed.
If you can read italian, on this page you can see technical data, drawings and arial photos of the ring road built in 6 phases in the last 15 years. Only one section, ''Tangenziale Est 3 lotto'', has yet to be built due to lack of money.

Apparently there is a not so remote possibility that A35 won't meet its 22nd July deadline for opening. The motorway is completed, but BreBeMi SpA won't open if the government does not grant the tax cuts already promised.

Let's wait and see what happens, the government should sit and decide by the middle of July.

This is the end part of Highway Siracusa-Rosolini (A18 Siracusa-Gela).

The costruction yard maybe has taken place.

Tangenziale Esterna Est, Milano

The TEEM is now visible on April 2014 imagery in Google Earth. (it's not yet in Google Maps as of today).

A4 interchange

SP103 interchange

Brebemi interchange

SP14 interchange

Works south of SP14 are less advanced, mostly earthworks.

San Donà di Piave - Villesse: who knows? No way before 2020.

Why does it take so long? Also, they should widen it all at once (Venezia-Villesse) instead of annoying drivers with 80-km/h sections for a whole decade, if not more.

I know, but it's still slow compared to 130 km/h.

I think it's ok for a section that is U/C.

Yes, but they should speed up the whole construction. Italians, don't be like us.

How long is this stretch? From Venice to Slovenia it takes bloody ages.

Sorry. I meant from Venice to the border. I know that the stretch currently being widened is not so long

Thks. It should all be 3x3. After the Slovenian network reached Hungary (and after so much capacity relocating to Hungary) the traffic became enormous (and Verso has a jon )
