Ring roads are not roundabouts. Even R9 in Charleroi can hardly be called a roundabout despite being a ring road that you can drive only in one direction.

A90 the ultimative roundabout!
The GRA is not really a circle, not even an elipse.

A roundabout doesn't need to be a perfect circle.
For example, this one is signed as roundabout:

Also Treviso, Italy, has an one-way inner ringroad:

I think it's funny "Paese", that means just "village" in Italian.

There's an article about it in the Serbian and Serbo-Croatian Wikipedia. I thought it was named after our Postojna, but apparently it's named after Spurius Postumius Albinus Magnus.

Strange that there is an article in the Serbian wiki but not in the Italian one.

In Treviso province there is an almost perfectly straight 33 km road built over the ancient "Via Postumia". It's numbered SP102 and has no relation with the more important SR53 "Postumia".

New alignment of SS 106 in Marina di Gioiosa and Rocella Jonica will open next week. Slowly but surely SS 106 becomes a very interesting road

Recently expropriation procedures have been started to build the direct junction between A35 and A4 near Brescia. Apparently this project is in a more advanced stage than anyone thought.

New SS106 is more "motorway-standard" than the old A3.

The bridge that cross-over the railway line near the Rosolini's junction will be open to traffic tomorrow.

A pic from above

The Italia viaduct on A3, which partially collapsed last March killing one worker, was demolished yesterday using explosives:

Somebody knows why ringroad is called in Roma "Grande raccordo anulare" and in Milan "Tangenziale nord, est and ovest"?
