Official Solihull Thread

Ok we've been talking about one so here it is the (in no way Official) Solihull Thread:

Town: Solihull
Population: 94,753 (2001)
Metropolitan Borough Council
Part of the West Midlands, South East of Birmingham
Motto: "Urbs in Rure" - Town in the Country

(In no way nicked of Wikipedia)

I think Butterfield may be suffering from a bout of favouritism . What is there to talk about Solihull? What's happening there other than some work at Chelmsley Wood centre?

I just want to see some photos of Solihullshire as we never see them on here - apart from Chelmsley Wood.

Who cares that nothing is going on? Just pics 'n' info will do.

EDIT: Oh and Erebus, don't be jealous - just because you're not my favourite anymore...

There's nothing wrong with that at all. Just a bit of friendly banter and Butterfield-teasing... again. This teasing is become a bit of a habit.

Aww, am I your favourite Butters? I'm sure I'll get a chance to create threads in the future, not like its a big deal or anything. Anyway, things don't seem to be happening very much in Solihull, but it can still have a thread right? For photos and stuff, and if anything does happen... maybe...

Sol-i-hull for me. I think the council have this idea that it's pronounced So-lihull, but it just isn't. Maybe a few Solihull School Old Boys say it like that... (no offense Engels )

I've noticed at work that the people who say So-lihull always say Shrowesbury instead of Shrewsbury.

I say "Sullyhull" but "Shrowesbury" (the original pronunciation). What does that make me then??
