Not sure if this video has ever been posted here.

Cite (Circa 1994).

We see towards the middle of the video a refurbished MP 59 in the current livery departing.

I heard the the MF01 could run by May on the line 5.
About the line 1, the platform doors are done in Etoile and it only misses one doors in Bastille.

So it misses one doors before the completion of the platform doors on the whole line 1.

It is not for no reason that Cluny la Sorbonne was closed between 1939 and 1988.
It re-opened to provide a connection with the newly opened Saint Michel Notre Dame RER B station.

So in other words Minato. Only one panel remains for the entire project on Line 1?

And to my earlier question, will the MP 89 being moved to Line 4 be in normal passenger operation?

& I am very delighted to hear about the MF 01 on Line 5, looking forward to seeing photos when they begin running regular service.

And soon, we will add Lines 4 & 5 to the mix, although they remain to be seen what automated voice they will run for the station announcements LOL. Why do I have the feeling though that Line 4 will have a male voice & Line 5 a female voice for the announcements?

=========================================

So to recap the rolling stock changes recently...

*Line 2 is almost all MF01
*Line 4 will have one MP89 running regular service by the end of this month
*Line 5 will begin having MF01 trains run regular service in May/June
*Line 1 will begin having MP05 trains run regular service possibly in June/July or August

The installation of platform doors is done on the line 1.
Remember it was two years ago in March 2009 when the first platform doors were completed.

2 years. Long, but well worth it for Line 1

I can't wait to see photos of the MP89 in action on Line 4 & the MF01 on Line 5!

Those stations look so narrow now. They lost their charme after having instalated the platform doors

To me, it makes no difference. In reality, they only lost several inches. Now to others, that may be different, so I can understand.

Visually, the stations feel more narrow with the PSD's.
It's true that the installation of PSD's changes the look and feeling of the metro stations.

What is your opinion on this, Minato?

They do look more narrow in a sense. But so does Line 14.

The platform look more narrow but you feel much more in security.
So the space decrease a bit but the safety increase.

They do change the look and the feeling of the metro but the good way.
It is not only the platform doors, the RATP also change the signage.

I think I have beaten the others to this lol. Actually, the video for 3b has been on YouTube for a while. But I don't think it was ever posted here. The video for 7b was just uploaded yesterday. So now we have

And now you have the videos of Line 7b to watch today

Also: 46arthurdu has informed me that he likely will not be making the video of Line 4 until more of the MP89 are running on the line. Perhaps closer to the end of the rolling stock transition will we see a video of Line 4. :/

The whole line.

The whole line. First part is from Louis Blanc to Pre St. Gervais. The second video is in the reverse direction.

CNGL is incorrect LOL, 46arthurdu already made a video of (Northbound only I think) several months ago.
