Lol, I find it to be the same way also. I'm asking a person that I know to take pics of the Metro for me when he is Paris in a couple of weeks.

I made many edits to my last post today (whew). I first stumbled upon 46arthurdu's video of Line 3b and only intended to post that video in my post. But then I saw that he had just uploaded 7b yesterday, so I had to edit my post to include those videos as well. :P

I think that you should repost the video on the next post, it will be on a new page.

Romantic ? Honestly I don't find the subway romantic in Paris, nor the city.
I am french and I live in Paris since july 2002, so I may be a bit biased.

Thank you Minato. I have integrated that post into my posting with the videos. Also discovered the Line 14 video.

New question for you Minato.

On Line 7b, why does the Place de Fetes station have an island platform? What was the purpose of the second track?

But Line 14 is a modern line. Platform doors look more better on it.

One thing I noticed: In lines 7 and 12, precisely in the stations Notre-Dame-de-Lorette and Le Peletier, the lines are so close and yet, they don't have no direct connection. Why do not they do that connection? wouldn't benefit no one?

Both points are true, Line 14 is modern and spacious compared to the other lines.

Was just putting in my 2 cents lol.

There are many photos of Line 14 that grace this thread. You can see how huge they are compared to the other lines.

The first project was to send trains on line M3 to line M7 some times, and to keep segregated lines at others (rush hours, if I remember right). So there was 1 track for the first kind of exploitation, the second for the other.

But finally, the project was given up, so the 2nd track is/was only used as a trains park.

Hmmm, interesting. I wonder if this will change should the bis lines be merged.

isn't the merge to form line 15 happening soon?

Also, with the track map on there, it looks like it won't change any use of second tracks on M7bis, as there's no actual reason for doing it.
