Oh, ok.

Any word as to whether the MP 89 returned to service on Line 4?

The MP89 runs only on morning this week : during the afternoon, it is used for drivers formation.

Anyway it is good to have driver training as much as possible.
More there are drivers who can drive MP89 on line 4, more the introduction of this rolling stock will be fast.

Even in Milan there is a metro station named Pasteur on metro line 1

There is even another station in Paris metro which has a corresponding one in Milan web: Garibaldi on M13 in Saint Denis, M2/M5/Passante in Milan

In the refurbishment of Garibaldi M2 they even put a writing to recall Paris metro

I wonder if there are other stations with the same name, but I don't think so

So Paris had a Garibaldi metro station before any italian city.
Garibaldi was born in Nice, only few years before the city become a part of France. He also had the french citizenship.
It is not like he is an irrevelent guy for France.

The year wasn't noticed, the source is an exposition about the metro in Art et Metiers museum.

Those numbers seem to be a bit high; they add up to over 5.4m per day, almost New York City level.

Never mind, forgot that it included transfers. Even so, I'd say they're probably a bit high, but they are rough numbers after all.

Exactly don't forget that a passengers can use several lines, especially in a big network like Paris metro.
More than 4.5 million people use Paris metro every workday, 1.5 billion passengers took the metro the last year.

So the number don't seem high. It means that only ~40% of the people who took the metro transfer to an other lines.
It is lower than I through. I am not even sure if all these number are workday or any day.

I thought at first that my eyes were playing tricks on me. But then I realized that the renderings of the renovated station looked so real, that I indeed thought they were REAL photos LOL.

It will look real nice when its done though. The old look, again, was just too outdated and not in line at all with the other stations.
