Anyway the line 14 is by far the most reliable of Paris metro.
It does not break down often.

What exactly happened on the Line 14? Trains not operating? Longer wait times?

In any such event, do the conductors move in and operate the trains manually? Or does it depend on the scenario?

Nothing, Blackraven showed that the program of the line 14 is complicated. Technical issues can happen sometimes but it is extremely uncommon.
The line 14 can be driven manually.

On his channel on Youtube, 46arthurdu points out that he will finish out Line 13 (St. Denis branch) and then begin filming Line 8.

I've also updated Post #2202 to reflect the lines not yet filmed. Judging by what he has told me. It seems that we will see Lines 7, 8 & 9 filmed by March or April of 2012, then Lines 1 & 4 during the summer months, and then perhaps a re-upload of Lines 5 & 14 in the fall.

Then we'll be able to see all of the Paris Metro Lines without having to leave home

Last year I read about a project to join the 3bis and 7bis lines in a new line (line 15) with a new intermediate stop. Does someone know anything about it?

I heard that it was going to be done by 2013, and that Haxo would finally be an operational station, but maybe that's old information?

This merge is a real project but I don't have more information.

I'm wondering the same thing myself.

Pierre Mongin, director of RATP, declared yesterday that line M1 will be fully automatised in november, and that the tests were successfull. But don't expect all trains will be automatics at this date, while only ~10 MP05 had been delivered.

I think both lines unified should be a bifurcation of line 7 north.

So tha actual part of 3 Bis would work as a feeder for a couple lines, and the actual part of 7 Bis could take people downtown or south with no transfer.

I'm not sure the RATP would like to have another branch on line 7.

An appropriate solution could be a little bit of tunneling work (~500 m.) and thus make the line terminate at Magenta with transfer for Gare du Nord and RER.

I think that's a good idea, but I'd also like to see Line 10 extended from Gare d'Austerlitz via Gare de Lyon to join Line 15 (3bis) at Gambetta.

Line 10 will more likely be extended towards Ivry-sur-Seine, with transfer at Bibliothèque François Mitterrand (RER C, M°14), that's what all the latest discussions revealed.

Awesome!

Yeah, I don't expect the stock transition to be complete til spring/summer 2012. And lets not forget that we will two MP 89 on Line 4 by October. Perhaps 3 to 6 by January with this development in place.
