Actually the Paris subterrain RER-stations look like the metro stations of Moscow.

This is why I never posted this video.
Shame because it was made by the RATP.

MP 89CC

I noticed something rather odd in the photo below, pulled from the ADEMAS site that Minato posted a link to earlier. As I looked closer at the MP 89CC train pictured, it appears that the train is not articulated (in other words, it appears that the interconnecting gangway between the cars does not exist). Was this perhaps a prototype MP 89 that was later modified into an articulated train? Or am I just seeing things?

EDIT: By the way, does anyone know if any MF 67 are still running on Line 2?

So, I learnt that the first pre-series MP89 train didn't have articulation.
I don't know the reason, in an other forum some people guess it was because of the Bastille curve.
I also learnt that the NS93 of Santiago de Chile didn't have articulation at first.
It was added later.

It is the two MP89 running in the line 4 (01 and 44).
According rumors in the RATP, there could be 5 MP89 in the line 4 by the end of October.

Here's a few fun little details I noticed while playing a map set in the Paris Metro in Battlefield 3.

The amount of detail in this game is amazing!

Note that this supposed to be the diagram for Line 3

This one is for Line 7.

People who have played Mirror's Edge will get the reference

That is neat! Even son real metro stations (like Gare de Lyon) are mentioned. I find to be the most fascinating is the REAL RER map. & they did not cover over one of the dots on the Line B (see lower-left hand corner of the photo).

In the diagram of the line 7 Chatelet is an interchange station but not in the line 3.

Why do their screens both show 0427? I always thought those numbers were meant to be unique running numbers.

That is what I am thinking also. In previous photos, I've only seen "0430" & "0480". It does not make sense to me that the numbers are the same on each run. Additionally, I saw a video of an MF 01 at Bobigny (I think I posted it previously), by which the display read "37 Bobigny-Pablo Picaso") I don't know if the "37" stood for the running number.

That is pretty neat.....except there would need to be a station at Cite to connect to the REAL Line 4 LOL.
