Where did you get the ridership figures from? Including the graph? I would like to use this info for a follow-up blog post on Line 11. Thanks!

As I see it gouges out quite far away of Paris intra-muros.

Yes and it will go ever further in the periphery.

Porte d’Orléans
The station is not anymore ther terminal stop for the train (it will open to passenger this Saturday).
The former Loop is now only used as garage space.

A such picture of a train arriving on this track would be unlikely few weeks ago, now it is the norm because the Loop is no longer used to return trains.

Mairie de Montrouge
Opening of the 303rd station of Paris metro.
It is the first time that the line 4 goes outside the city limits of Paris and the last extension of the line was in 1910, 103 years ago.

The ceiling is high but the platforms are quite narrow

What's the lights in the background of the last 3 pics (through the tunnel)? It looks like another station but I can't for the life of me believe that's what it is.

You can see a little bit of me in the second video at 0:12 (a very little bit).
I think that I was inside the train in the third video. (you can't see me because I was just on the front door).
The people filming were with me in the train, they exited at Porte d’Orléans while I continued in the train until Alesia.

Paris opens Metro Line 4 extension
Written by Keith Barrow | Monday, March 25, 2013

PARIS Transport Authority (RATP) opened the French capital's 303rd metro station on March 23 with the inauguration of the €185.3m southern extension of Line 4 to Mairie de Montrouge.

The 1.5km extension from Porte de Orléans is the first addition to Line 4 in more than 100 years and is expected to boost ridership on the line by around 37,900 passengers per day. The journey time between Mairie de Montrouge and the northern terminus at Porte de Clignancourt is around 30 minutes.

By the end of 2019, Line 4 will be extended a further 1.7 km to Bagneux with new stations at Verdun Sud and Bagneux.

Line 4 is the second-busiest Metro Line in Paris, carrying around 674,000 passengers per day.

Some photos were just posted in Symbioz of December's inauguration of Front Populaire. Come to find out, one MF 67 also donned a similar livery for that day.

That is crowded.

At least I have a better idea (sadly) of what the MP 05s on Line 14 will look like.
