But what does the STIF want to do? That's what I would like to know at some point.

I knew for a while that the RATP has been leaning towards the 6.

The STIF says that the MP14 is particularly intended to lines 14,4 and 11, in its last report.

More than enough for line 1 even taking account of the extension to Val de Fontenay

RATP expects full 3G, 4G coverage in Paris metro by 2017
Wednesday 28 January 2015 | 14:33 CET | News

Paris transport authority RATP announced that the deployment of 3G and 4G on two lines will be completed this year and throughout the whole metro system in 2017, Les Echos reports. RATP secretary Emmanuel Pitron praised the country's four MNOs for taking part, adding that 3G and 4G coverage is expected to be available in the first two lines from the middle of the year. They will be metro line 1 and commuter line RER A. RATP CEO Pierre Mongin said at the same press conference that he was very interested in coaches, for which the long-distance market will be liberalised under the Macron Bill currently being debated in parliament. Three metro lines are being extended this year as RATP prepares the end of its monopoly, due to occur in 2024 for buses, 2029 for trams and 2039 for the metro.

I think that they mean full coverage for the metro line 1 and RER A in the middle of 2015 because I can already get 4G in few stations and tunnel in both lines.

Cool!

Just like Liege on the 13, this station has split platforms (probably due to a narrow street above).

First time for me to see an MF 88 in a simulator.

Previous simulator videos I've come across have featured only the Sprague, MP 59, MF 67, MP 73, both versions of the MP 89, and a modified MP 89CA to look like the MP 05.

I also saw a simulation of the MF 77 somewhere.

I still have yet to find a simulation of the MF 01, but now with this, I'm confident one is hiding somewhere.

This looks more like a modified MF 77 rather than a MF 88.

I wish they put some had made an effort to go for nicer barriers so that they'd fit better with the station( same with FDR or Champs-Elysées Clémenceau). It's a shame, these stations are beautiful but you can't really appreciate them anymore.

@Minato ku:
Is the width of these stations, with or without the walls? (I assume it's without, but one never knows..)

And does the station that's 18,3 meters wide have A islandplatform?

I don't know if the site also has an english version..
(which would make translating french for me A bit easier considering all my health-issues.)
