@Minato ku: Is there any render to be found of the station that's planned at that location?

With automation plans in motion, I'm sure future renderings will include PSDs.

Will the proposed Grand Paris express be part of the Paris Metro or RER or will it be an entirely new system? Considering how the lines are numbered "15", "16", "17" and "18". Also, is it possible that the new Grand Paris Express lines will have longer trains than any of the existing Paris Metro lines?

As far as i remembered, it was posted here before. However, i cannot find the answer anymore. Why did de government decide to build the Metéor line 14 for quite small, regular 2,65 trains instead of the much wider 3 meter width like de RER-system?

Because two lines were built at the same time : the line 14 of the subway (formerly called Meteor), and the Line E of the RER (formerly called Eole). Both lines have the same orientation (east-west).

(in fact for some time it was even envisaged to built only a single line for budgetary reasons ; it would have been called... Meteole ! This idea was quickly dropped ).

Northern extension to Mairie d'Aubervilliers

The full tunnel was built with the first step of this extension (Front Poluraire in december 2012).
The current work are "only" about the construction of the stations but it still heavy work.
Opening planned for 2019

Aimé Césaire

Mairie d'Aubervilliers.

This is how the station are built, you can note that the tunnel is already there.

Some pictures at Mairie d'Aubervilliers

When is that new banlieue terminus of line 12 scheduled to open? Is Aimé Césaire also under construction?

Curious question; does anyone know what happened to the old Metro Pole (Metropolis) site that used to have periodic updates on the Metro, RER, etc.? I can't seem to find it anymore. Was it shut down?

I know that after they posted an article about the move of the MP 89CC from the 1 to the 4, it's like they stopped updating.

Yes, it seems the this site is closed.

Austerlitz (line 5) ; the front of the station was recently renovated :

(In the middle, the white boat is a part of the coat of arms of the city of Paris).

Viaduc d'Austerlitz, the station is on the left :

I really do need to sleep a bit more

Yes, on the right on the picture (but it's on the left bank of the river... in Paris we always refer to the left bank and the right bank) !

The station on the left is Quai de la Rapée.

Could someone explain what the difference between RER, Commuter Trains (on Suburban Rail), Express Trains on Metro, and simple Suburban Rail, are?
