I was searching for 'Lyon' as a new name for Place d'Italy... several times i looked it up and the only thing that i could 'made up' was this:
At this site there was the ancient gate on the road towards Lyon. (right?)

Jean-Baptiste Berlier (M12), the name of one of the tycoons for the Nord-Sud line A (now, M12).

Massimmo Vignelli (M2), because the real name is Rome...

"Ecole nouvelle Ponts et chaussées" (M8) : I think it's because it's close to the Eiffel tower, and Gustave Eiffel was student in this School.

Does someone know about the light baby green on he Paris métro trains? Who came up with this idea? I lived in Paris for a few months and even though I love the city and I can't complain at all to the transportation, I find it ugly when it comes to colours

Wrong the "Mouton style" is not at all an ornament made by Guimard.
He was dead when was created the Mouton style.

The Mouton style stations are those renovated in the 1970's with the orange tile.

Mouton Duverney was the first station to have this color in the 1969.
It is anymore the case with the renovation of 2006, today the titles of this station are white.
http://www.metro-pole.net/actu/article694.html

So Mouton Duvernet doesn't have anymore the Mounton style.
Many other stations lost it. (Gare de l'Est, Raspail, Republique, Trocadero...)

PS : I had answered at this one.
