If I hear news about a new rubber tired rolling stock, I'll post it here.
For the moment there is nothing.

I know but I could have any other information about this new rolling stock.
Unfortunately I don't.

I was reading on the RATP website (translated to English) that there is work going on within Line 7b until late 2011. Besides modernizing the line, does anyone know if this may yield any signs of a future merge with 3b?

No, don't hope so !

It's just for works on the railway.

By the way, I would like to take a brief moment to invite everyone here to my new site about the Paris Metro. It's a rather small site at the moment, but my goal is to have insight on the Metro, RER, Transillen, plus bus, LRT, Tram, and other European transit systems

Hey Hartride!
Your website is great and very complete (the metro section at least). I imagine the rest is under construction You should include a RER section, or include it in your transilien page.

Btw, on your website you say that the Paris metro handles 4 millions people a year, I think it's more 4 millions a day...

Thanks.

I don't where I got the figures from, but if anyone can direct me to a link where I can get accurate ridership figures, that would be very appreciative.

1479 million a year is about 4 million a day

EDIT: And if you look at the numbers for metro, RER and Transilien lines its a total 2623 millions passengers. So a little over 7 million a day :o
But in reality it less than that because that number counts two times people who come from the RER network and then take the metro, or the other way around.
