Some screens showing the construction of the Métropolitain on the brand new MF01 on line 2:

This screens are only available on few trains.

By the way, I have found this on wikipedia:
Quote:
Affectation des rames MF 01

L'état du parc au 19/10/2010 est le suivant :
- Ligne 2 (36 rames) : 001 à 004, 006 à 037 ;
- Essais ligne 5 (1 rame) : 048 ;
- Essais Ouragan ligne 8 à Porte de Charenton (1 rame) : 049.
- Atelier de Charonne (en attente de validation) : 005
So, on line 2, it remains 9 trains to be delivered.
Trials are in progress on line 5.
But, trials on line 8... Was it expected???

Right after the line 5, the line 9 will have MF01.
The MF01 at Porte de Charenton (M8) is on test for the new automatic driving system Ouragan, it does not run for normal service.

:O

People get in, without leaving people exit.

Incredible!

Do French people don't have any kind of education whatsoever?!

I'm sorry, but I find it amazing.

And RATP still won't deal with the outdated seating arrangement…

I believe the people you saw in this clip actually were a bunch of Spanish tourists...

Whatever.

I was very serious with what I said yesterday.

I have not seen that in any other city (either American or European), and I consider it a complete lack of education.

Don't be. It can cause all sorts of stress-related symptoms, and eventually even heart failure.
Just do as the other Parisians do, and don't mind the bloody uneducated tourists. It's the only way to survive the urban jungle.

¿Have you seen the video?

People entering really look like French people, not like tourists.

Anyway, I think I've been quite clear, so I won't repeat myself

Cheers.

I bet it gets pretty overcrowded during rush hour, when taking the narrowness of the train cars and the transverse seating into consideration.

Same thing happened to me when I last visited Paris, plus they were on strike (how rare!) so that made things even more difficult. People would get on the train without letting others get off it first, which ANNOYED me hugely! It was, at some point, rude!

I totally agree, it's not acceptable, and it shows a clear lack of education.

It seems to be quite usual in Paris, I'm afraid.

I like this station, among others along Line 14, very spacious, modern, and clean.
