Anyone here pictures of demolished Paris metros? There should be scrapped some MP59 and MF67 in the last few years.

What I really wonder about is whether there is still an intact MP 55 lying in a tunnel somewhere.....it would be great if there is one.

Of course the RATP keep intact cars of the older rolling stock, I don't know where.
We lack of a transportation museum in Paris.

There are STill 2 MA 51 that were Preserved. One by the RATP and Another One by ADEMAS.

Great video, but what was causing all the car horns? Was there some sort of emergency at street level?

Parisians.

No but more seriously, the snow caused chaos on the roads in Paris, because the city is not really well equiped for snowy weather. A lot of people were stuck in their cars for hours in in the paris region, even overnight.

How long is an average platform? I know some lines, like Line 14 have longer platforms than others. I also hear that Cite on Line 4 also has a longer than typical platform.

They are 75 metres long on most of the network, bar:
. Lines 1 and 4 (90m)
. Line 14 (120m)
. about half of Line 8 (105m)
. + some random stations here and there are 90 or 100+ long

Studies will begin in 2011.

I hope a station between Rigollots & Val-de-Fontenay (3 km between both).
