I just got back from Havana and i saw many abandoned skyscrapers there. didnt get any pictures though

yeah, houston has a few nice building sitting vacant in the south part of downtown.

Really sad about that last building. its really nice and in a good location too with good views of downtown.

There's such building on one of the main boulevards in Sofia:

It is supposed to become the new headquarters of the bulgarian tax administration, after it has been abandoned in this way for more than 15 years, the project initially was for central hedquarter of all newspapers, magazines etc. during the comunist era in the 80ies, when all media was controlled by the state. But it's erection stopped in the begining of the 90ies after the comunist regime fell.

The Ivy Tower sat abandoned in Minneapolis to rot, until recently a hotel company bought it, renovated it, and built a huge tower around it

I had no idea that the midrise in Brussels is abandoned. It or its site has to be redeveloped in some way.
