I have high quality pictures from inside, but any photos need to be released by Tameer directly.

There are a few proper pics in the latest Elite sales brochure launched more than 6 months ago, and some really low quality shots on the Tameer website under construction update photos.

So I guess we will have to wait a few more months for the building to officially open to the owners for snagging.

I would love to see more street level pictures if you have them, especially deeper into the cluster and from around the smaller streets. Thanks.

It has always buffled me why people would talk about dark street levels. Maybe that's the 'I come from a dark cloudy skies place' and 'I have seen to many sci-fi decaying future movies' crowd.

The area is not that dense and the sunshine is strong here.

Well, down town Los Angeles is too dark for me and LA is nowhere as clustered as this. And considering that these buildings are twice as tall as anything in LA what other conclusion can I come to? That is why I was asking for more street level pics, so I can see for myself.

There are only 3 rows of buildings, with wide distances between them (the rows). Regardless, it doesn't matter how tall the buildings are, that effects only how long the shadows they cast are. THere is no problem with dark alleys in town (during the day obviously)

Here are some pics I took in august around sunset.

It is somewhat dark, but not as much as you would expect.

Dubai looks like a sim city to me. One of these here, another over there and so forth.

Another pet-peeve of mine: SIM City comparo as negative.

I have never played it (I don't play videogames anyway), but I can't understand how something that fascinate the people and they enjoy so much to do, will be used as negative by the same ones.

The only building in this cluster that stands out to me is the infinity tower

I would assume most of these towers, for sure Elite, would be totally outstanding in any German city, where I come from.

So, if a 381m residential giant like Elite doesn't stand out in this cluster, by definition, that cluster itself must be utterly outstanding.

I think he's talking about design not height...Elite Residence in any European city would not be outstanding at all, more like totally ridiculous!

This is like saying: Wearing a thick fur coat, hat and boots in the tropic, 'would not be outstanding at all, more like totally ridiculous!'

Any idea why they are and/or look so thin? Has anyone ever bothered to explain why?

i always thought that the plots that are sold are rather small and because the demand was extremely high there were a lot of developers each buying a plot instead of only few developers buying the plots and making larger projects. but how it really was, no idea

You can't build large residential towers. Unlike commercial ones, apartments needs windows on all their spaces, and considering how small living spaces are, you can't build a fat residential tower .... plus, a 10 stories high with the same dimensions will look certanly a big building. You people just find it very difficult to gasp how big these towers really are
