Lodz Fabryczna will look fantastic when finished, would be nice to see the pendolino run through the station. Who knows, maybe in the distant future there will be a high speed line from warsaw thru Lodz and Poznan towards Berlin.

Actually pendolnos won't be operating in Łódź Fabryczna. The most of long-distance trains which will have a terminus there are Flirts3 and Pesa Darts. Very nice too

it seems like a Stadler GTW from TreNord, however, i have no idea why on earth should such a train be in Poland.

I know they won't be operating there, they can't because of the EU agreement for the pendolinos, same deal for international travel, can't be used for international travel until 2025 at the earliest. Doubt the pendolino will even go to germany from Poland, perhaps to the czech republic but germany, I doubt it. Still it is a long way to go and I feel a lot more kms of track need to be modernized or built from scratch in order to have an efficient and quick connection from perhaps warsaw to berlin. I am aware current connections exist, but I am referring to >200 or better yet >250hm/h lines. I've been on the line between gdansk and berlin, while quick, I feel it could be faster.

Actually DARTs ARE predicted to operate between Łódź and Warsaw (as a part of Warsaw-Łódź-Wrocław and Białystok-Warsaw-Łódź-Wrocław lines). Of course DARTs from Warsaw-Lublin line will be temporarily directed to Łódź-Warsaw line due to modernisation of Lublin line, however PKP Intercity certainly will restote them to Lublin when the modernisation will be finished.

Flirts 3 in Łódź Fabryczna will be mostly existing Łódź's services to Szczecin, Kraków and Katowice, which now operates from Łódź Kaliska station and additional pair from Olsztyn (Olsztyn-Warsaw service extended to Łódź Fabryczna)

I was wondering why are the PKP Intercity Eurosprinter Class ES64U4 locomotives numbered as 370s and not EU44s? Aren't they owned by PKP IC?

5 370 xxx are EU numbering. Polish numbering is like you wrote - EU44
