You're right, it's just a POV matter, as South Vietnamese were told the war was between true Vietnamese and Soviet and China's puppets.

I feel sorry for Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore! They never had a great nationalist/commie leader like Ho Chi Minh to free them from 'colonialism'!!! LOL They are just little running dogs of Imperialist America. With his a great vision from our uncle HO, Vietnam will surely catch up to North Korea, Cuba, Burma and Zimbabwe!! Communism is the wave of the future and will surely bury capitalism! I love VC historiography! It is so childlike and defy comprehension.

Anyhow, I still prefer the old saigon...The current state of saigon makes me wanna cry sometimes. Living in saigon is no different than living in an african country at the moment. 4 years away from saigon, thought it'd get much better by the time I got back, but the opposite happened! Shiat! All because of the fking government! Authorities & leaders are full of poos!

You're right I never lived under VC. My parents left when our country (VNCH) fell so I never had direct life under VC. Thank Goodness. To me, it is very simple! Everywhere I see communism rear its ugly head like in E. Europe, S. America, Africa, Russia, and Asia it has proven to be a disaster. Not one country or region has proven that communism was workable and was a success. It is a belief built upon lies after lies. The lies are so obvious and blatant that it confuses the liars from knowing the truth. They lie so much that they are deluded into believing it is the truth. That's why you get these children of VC still defending their parents' doctrine. I don't hate VC or their children. I don't know them to hate them. I just hate what they have done to Vietnam. I hate their blindness that continues to blind the country from becoming a regular and normal country. The simple truth is that Vietnam under VC is definitely not free and civilized as compared to her neighbors. Vietnam has either has to accept that VC way of nation building is dysfunctional and outdated or Vietnam can remain under the great illusion while her neighbors advances into the next stage of development. Why is that Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand are freer, more educated, more prosperous than Vietnam? I'm sick of Vietnam being last and not equal to her neighbors. I just simply think communism and their way of doing things are a mistake. If it were a success, then no one would be complaining. Viet people are no different from the rest of the world. The rest of the world hated communism too. So why would Viet people be different? |

It is hilarious! Every time I see portraits of white guys Marx and Lenin and Chinese Mao, I think to myself, why do VC keep on pretending to call themselves nationalist? What do those foreigners have to do with Vietnam??? LOL
It cracks me up every time! ![]() If nationalism is the guiding principle in Vietnam then why does one group, faction or party always goes against the national interest of the entire country. Nationalism has to be above the interest of a particular group. |

Bác không thờ Mao, Mác, Lê thì đào đâu ra súng đạn để con cháu Bác đưa non sông đến Đại Đồng???
![]() The more I hear those VC Red Guard Juniors blab their mouths, the more I fear Vietnam will never catch up with Malaysia, let alone Singapore or S. Korea.
